  • In the “Block Size” field, enter the dimensions of each block for your quilt in inches.
  • Make sure to input a valid number.
  1. Indicate Seam Allowance and Border Width:
  • Fill in the “Seam Allowance” field. A typical seam allowance for quilting is 0.25 inches, which is set as the default value.
  • Next, enter the width of your quilt’s border in the “Border Width” field, in inches.

  • In the “Fabric Width” field, enter the width of the fabric bolt you’re using, measured in inches.
